Queasy Pops Review and Giveaway

So in our car, we have a reoccurring problem. Unless the road ahead of us is straight as an arrow (and really, how often does that happen in the Pacific Northwest?), our middle son Calvin gets motion sickness. Before we buckle up, we have to make sure he hasn’t eaten, isn’t reading, isn’t watching a movie, isn’t so much as thinking about doing anything but staring straight ahead. Most notable was the great stomach upheaval of ’03. And ’04. And ’06.

But there’s an upshot to reading a blog post about kid throw-up. Really. The lovely people at Three Lollies sent us a package of Queasy Pops to try. That’s right…the same company who makes the Preggo Pops many of my friends have raved about has expanded to include kids! We thought we’d give them a test run on this highway. That’s right…we weren’t messing around.

You, too, might need a box of Queasy Pops in your car at all times!

We offered Calvin his choice of flavors, and after careful consideration, he decided on Natural Cola. When we asked him how it tasted a few minutes later, we got a silent two thumbs up. By this time, the other kids had clued into the fact that Cal had been given ‘candy’ (Queasy Pops are actually all natural and contain no sugar) at 10 am, and demanded their own pops. We doled them out, despite the fact that they rarely get car sick. The Sour Raspberry, Papaya, and Lemon (I ate that one) flavors also got good reviews. (You can go here to read the homeopathic reasons behind each of Three Lollies’ flavor choices.)

Since they’re made with brown rice syrup and natural flavors and colors, the Queasy Pops were very flavorful but didn’t leave any icky aftertaste. And the best news? Calvin watched the entirety of Pirates of the Caribbean on a windy road and never complained once. (He did work his way through two more pops though.)

I am the Queen of motion sickness. Even the thought of riding in the backseat makes me queasy! I would use Queasy Pops for short trips , long trips , and all of the other queasy times.

I am the world’s BIGGEST fan of queasy pops. One time we were going on a cruise and I couldn’t find them, so I bought Preggie Pops instead. The lavender flavor didn’t go over so big (there was another gross flavor too, I’m forgetting it now). Otherwise, great!
