Tales2Go Review and Giveaway

Pitstops for Kids is very pleased to be able to offer a free one-year subscription to Tales2Go!

For an annual subscription of $24.99, you get unlimited access to a huge variety of stories (in various lengths) from multiple audio publishers, read by award-winning storytellers. If you’ve ever downloaded individual stories and books for your children, you know the value of this subscription. And if you’ve ever checked out multiple audio CDs from your local library and tried to sync them, you know the convenience that lies within Tales2Go.

In conjunction with its launch, Tales2Go is offering a free trial period of 30 days to everyone! Even better, they’re giving one paid subscription free to a Pitstops for Kids reader!

We tried Tales2Go on a recent overnight. It was perfect for my kid with a queasy stomach in the car (no reading, no video games…just listening while looking out the window), and that night, Tales2Go came in handy again when we needed to settle everyone down in their motel room beds. We’re currently studying Greek Mythology, so from the app’s extensive menu, we selected Fairy Tales and Myths, then the story Adventures of Hercules. (You can also browse categories by age, popularity, storytellers, or several other classifications.) Right under the title is a description of the story and its length, so I knew how long it’d be. I turned up the volume of my phone, set it on the table, and three kids quietly listened to the 25 minute story before drifting off to sleep.
