Summer vacation season is almost here, and if you’re planning a family road-trip, you’re going to need to stock up on great travel toys and activities for your kids! Here at Pit Stops for Kids, we’re all about making travel more fun for you and your kids, which is why we were more than happy to try out Randomline‘s line of Squiggle On-the-Go Activity Pads, perfect for travel!
A recent Dr. Toy Winner in the Best Picks of New Products category, Randomline takes a simple concept (drawing from a random squiggly line) and packages it in a kid-friendly, fun format. Each pad comes in a convenient all-in-one package of a paper pad, four markers (in a resealable pocket right on the package), and a spin wheel, all contained on study cardboard which doubles as a perfect writing surface. It’s easy to play: kids start with a single squiggly line, then spin the wheel to find out what they have to draw (using the line as a starting point). It’s fun because no matter what the child’s drawing skill, they can play along! And with an endless combination of items and squiggly lines, kids can keep going and going (as you keep driving and driving)!
We tried out the Squiggle On-the-Move Activity Pad on a Mother’s Day outing, and I’m happy to report that for our five-year-old, it beat out even his interest in his Nintendo DS.

My boys would love the Squiggles on the Go!
I think my son would like the squiggles game
I like the “Style” Fashion drawing pad, but it doesn’t say that it’s “on the go.” So, if it doesn’t “count” as “on the go,” I’d choose the Outdoors “on the go” set.
