Travel Tip: Spring break planning advice

spring break funHas cabin fever set in at your house yet? It certainly has here! Despite the fact that we’re lovers of the winter months (and all the snow that’s come with it in the last few weeks), the Pit Stops for Kids family is more than ready for spring break.

I don’t know what a spring break vacation looks like for you, but for us, whether we’re spending it on the slopes or on the sand, in a theme park or in a city, we always have the same goal in mind: relaxation. It’s a time to catch our breath, rejuvenate, and enjoy each other as a family. Last spring break, we traveled through Oregon, California, and Nevada. This year, we’ll be spending time on Washington’s Olympic Peninsula, visiting Olympic National Park and reviewing the beautiful Lake Quinault Lodge, but not before splashing it up at Great Wolf Lodge with my entire extended family.

If you’re itching to get away for spring break as well, but aren’t sure where to start planning, you’ll want to check out Best Family Travel Advice’s newly published Top 10 Spring Break Destinations for Families. As a Best Family Travel Advice expert, I can attest to the fact that this list was written exclusively for traveling parents, by traveling parents.
