I love this one-piece sunsuit (SPF 50) because it’s so easy to get on and off, and isn’t as tight-fitting as other brands. Put it on in place of a swimsuit or swim trunks, or use it on longer hikes and days out in the direct sun.
Columbia Tidewater Long Sleeve Shirt
My kids prefer this Columbia rash guard sun shirt to others because it’s a little bit thinner, all the better to fit comfortably under life vests while out on the water rafting or boating. The looser fit makes it a good shirt for hiking in as well; they’ve even been known to play sports in them!

This high-end hiking shoe from Adidas’ Outdoor line is available for men, women, and youth, and is by far the most versatile we’ve seen on the market. Great for hiking, touring, and day-to-day wear, you won’t need to buy your kids (and yourself) several different shoes for one trip (saving on both money and packing space). Plus, they’re gorgeous, are they not?
Adidas Terrex Windstopper Hybrid Jacket
Something for Mom! When I was asked to review this Adidas zip-up jacket, I was skeptical. Would I really think it was worth the $200 price tag? Actually, yes! It’s lightweight, yet incredible warm and wind resistant. It can pack up small, and is the go-to jacket I reach for at home, too. Works on the ski slopes, hiking trails, running errands…yep, I’m sold!
